How It All Started.....
Its been 7 years since I've had an office job. Its been 7 years since I had a full-time job. Its been 8 years since I graduated with a Masters degree. I can't believe that! When I left, on my last day as an Americorps Volunteer, I thought that was my stepping stone to beginning a new life as a career woman. I was never in my life prepared for all the changes and obstacles that I would face in my day to day life. My husband had returned home from Afghanistan. We finally were going to plan our wedding. We'd been married a year and I had to wait for him and I missed him terribly. He made it home the day after his birthday. I was fortunate enough that I could stay home and plan the wedding. I worked a couple odd jobs here and there. My husband was finished from the army. We enjoyed our time together. Then one evening I had a health scare. It was hard to get over. I had to get counseling. I was put on medication....
